Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SolarBrain ("SolarBrain", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the SolarBrain website, dashboard, integrations, automations, support channels, and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information

Integration and device information

Automation and energy information

Support and technical information

If you contact us through WhatsApp, email, a feature-request form, or another support channel, we may receive the information you choose to provide. We may also collect limited technical data such as IP address, authentication/security events, error logs, and browser information needed to operate and protect the Service.

2. How We Use Information

3. Third-Party Services

SolarBrain may connect to inverter-cloud providers, smart-switch platforms such as eWeLink, messaging services such as Telegram or WhatsApp, hosting providers, and future payment providers. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

4. Payments

When paid billing is enabled, payment information may be processed by a third-party provider. SolarBrain intends to receive transaction status, amount, currency, references, and information needed to manage your subscription. We do not intend to store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on SolarBrain servers.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

SolarBrain may use essential cookies, session identifiers, or browser storage required for authentication, security, preferences, and normal application operation. If non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, appropriate notice and choices will be provided where required.

6. Sharing

We may share information only where reasonably necessary with infrastructure/service providers, integrations you authorize, payment providers, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or a successor entity in a lawful business transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account continuity, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service. Disconnecting an integration may stop live access while certain mappings remain saved to make reconnection easier.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect SolarBrain accounts and connected-service information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your SolarBrain credentials and connected third-party accounts.

9. International Processing

SolarBrain may use infrastructure or providers located in countries different from your own. Where required, reasonable steps will be taken to support lawful cross-border processing.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You can also disconnect supported integrations and request account closure.

11. Children

SolarBrain is not designed as a service for children. A person creating or purchasing an account must have the legal capacity to enter into the applicable agreement or valid authorization where permitted by law.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as SolarBrain evolves. The updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date and additional notice where legally required.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact SolarBrain through the support/contact channels published on getsolarbrain.com.

This launch-stage policy should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before large-scale commercial expansion or entry into jurisdictions with additional privacy requirements.
